Do you ever do the ‘What if’ thing?
What if X happens? Or Y or Z?
What If I do X then Y happens?
What if I do Z but X is needed?
Exhausting isn’t it?
We all do the ‘What if’ thing from time to time, it’s a natural in built problem solving response we all have💡
Incredibly handy when we are in real time danger.
And Genius when used in a practical sense.
But when used with working out future emotional responses it’s nothing but draining.
What if-ing future emotional matters can leave you feeling, muddled, tired, tense, stressed, worried and out of control.
You see we can’t predict what’s going to happen in the future, with your pregnancy, your birth, your children’s lives, your life.
All we can do is focus on today.
Today everything is just right in my world.
Today everything is just as it should be.
Today my pregnancy is progressing beautifully.
Today I focus on things I can do to help me in labour.
Today my children are happy and healthy.
Today I think supportive thoughts, speak with supportive language and take supportive steps to building a bright future for me and my family.
You get it I’m sure.
When you stop with the ‘What if’ and focus on supporting yourself today you’ll start to feel less muddled, more motivated, less stressed, more relaxed and more in control of your thoughts and emotions.
Happier in other words.
Unscrambling muddled minds is one of the things we do when we work together on a 1-2-1 basis with The Breakthrough Formula.
